n February 22nd, the 1st course in Gaston County was opened at beautiful Rankin Lake Park in Gastonia. The course is now a full 18 holes, with a brand new back 9 completed in late August. Hole #1 starts right in front of the clubhouse, check it out!

We are currently working on the following projects at Rankin Lake:

  • Tee signs for the front 9 holes. (Update 10/30/07: Almost complete! Come check them out!)
  • A course kiosk (map, message board, etc.) to be installed near hole #1.
  • Trash pickup on holes 10-18.
  • Fine-tuning the fairways on holes 10-18. Thank you City of Gastonia!
